Green Horn Division
Open
to those RIDERS who have never completed an Elementary division
successfully or those who have never competed in an Event. Course will
be very straight forward with natural type obstacles. Fences will generally
be approximately 12 to 14 inches. The Green horn Cross country course
will differ from the Elementary Cross country course. Dressage will be
in a small 3 board enclosed fenced ring...to avoid eliminations from jumping
out. Stadium will be a simple course of 6 fences. In an effort to encourage
trainers to bring multiple students to compete at this level we will allow
the same horse {well schooled lesson type mounts} to make the trip a maximum
of 3 times with 3 different riders. Dressage tests may be read. Help may
be given on the Cross country course. Entry fee per rider is $60.00.
This division will be an opportunity to be introduced to the world of
Eventing. Riders are encouraged to stay and watch the bigger divisions
compete later in the day.
