Elementary Divisions
This division is open to the REAL Beginner, as an introduction to Combined Training Horse Trials. It is meant to encourage either the horse or rider to compete and enjoy!
Adult beginners are particularly welcomed here. Fences do not exceed 18". The course will be very simple fences, may be trotted and HELP may be given as needed in the Elementary Rider Division only.
Course is situated around a pond in a totally enclosed fenced pasture.
OPEN ELEMENTARY competes over the same course but does a dressage test that includes cantering.
Very green horses will find this division a nice place to start.
